About the challenge:

If you've never heard of LeRobot, it's a robotics branch of the open source platform Huggingface. We are partnering with them to build a hackathon in Los Angeles focused on Robot learning and training robotics models.

Dates: 

June 14th-15th. 9AM SATURDAY - 8 PM SATURDAY  9 AM SUNDAY - 6 PM SUNDAY

We are inviting participants to work all night if they want to stay! 

We will be providing light meals and snacks and drinks throughout the day.  

 

Get started:

All you have to do is bring yourself and your laptop! We can supply robots and compute. We encourage you to bring friends.

Requirements

What to Build:

You'll get the chance to use imitation learning to train robotics models to do any task you can imagine. You can also work on any part of the pipeline like data augmentation, simulation, or hardware modifications! We will have many different robots ranging from humanoids to bimanual mobile maipulators, to simple SO-100s and hardware support. 

What to Submit

You'll submit a video of your project and compete to be the best in the world! 

 

The tracks: 

  • Imitation learning (real world & simulation): GPU (local or remote), robot or robot -free
  • Reinforcement learning (real world & simulation): GPU (NVIDIA local only), robot or robot-free
  • Create and integrate a new/existing robot/teleoperator to LeRobot: GPU-free, robot
  • Hardware improvements: GPU-free, robot
  • Dataset tools improvements: GPU-free, robot or robot -free
